UPDATES AND NOTES:
March 10, 2008
I
hope you guys read my Yahoo! Club page there *points to link at top
there* as that pretty much says it all for this update. But I know not
everyone does so I'll sum it up here for you guys who don't belong to
the club and have no intention of joining it for what ever reasons you
have.
The
real update to report on is that my site is being fully
intergrated into YouTube. Its the way of the present and future. It's a
great site and I think they make it very easy and user friendly for web
site runners to put videos up on a page with the embed video option
they have. And as I get older I realize I won't be doing this site
forever. So I want to share the things that have made me happy over the
years. And of course that is the various macro moments found here and
still to come.
So
please.. feel free to subscribe and friend me on YouTube. You will be
able to comment on the videos and enjoy the macro moments in nicely
edited and compilation type videos that cut out the non macro parts
giving you the focus of the monster and /or giant in every situation.
Please click on the above link or
just search for Temdant on YouTube and subscribe and you will be able
to watch everything at any time. Also every video found there will be
found at the bottom of the character it is for on my site still. So
they both are working together as part of a big family here for the
website.
So far as of this posting there are
about 20 videos up on YouTube. The plan is to get them all up and then
continue to add more. Slowly but surely I will be moving away from the
internet as I get older and the page, well who knows what the future
holds for it. But at least I will have my YouTube stuff up and running
for as long as they are up there.
Please check out the Yahoo! Club
posting for more on this. I will have more updates to come after I
finish the YouTube project here and just be sure to subscribe and feel
free to add me as a friend there so you can keep up to date with stuff
that way too.
Remember.. Temdant on YouTube.
Check it out. And enjoy!! I know there are a lot of moments a lot of
people have been requesting.. well don't miss your chance to see them
now and for as long as you want. Just a tiny way I can say Thanks to
everyone and to show how great macro furry and giant animal situations
truly are.
October 22, 2007
Sorry for the very long delay in
updates. I realize the last update was tax day in the US but time flies
when you are looking for big things high above. More like just been
very busy real life and haven't had a moment to update the ol page
here. Well thank goodness a moment finally turned up as I added a few
things here in this latest update. With more still in the works but I
wanted to get up what I did as you all waited long enough for more big
goodness to enjoy.
Before I get to what was update
please take note of the pages new email address. Due to no longer being
part of optimum cablevision service and now part of Verizon FIOS , that
means an email change has occured. Please take note and update of the
email address. It is now:
I will still get emails at the old
address for a few more days or even a week or so but eventually it will
no longer be active. So update your email lists accordingly as I know a
few of you out there do email with suggestions, feedback and requests
and I can't help you out there if I don't get your emails anymore. So
update the email address to prevent any problems. Thanks. (As to why
the 3 is still in the email address that is more for traditional than
practical purposes.. you can appreciate that folks right?)
List of Characters:
Cat and Dragon -- An episode of
Cardcaptors that focused on the big and create card. Had moments with a
giant cat sized up due to the big card and a dragon created due to the
create cards effects. Not the best of episodes but it is fully
reviewed, with pictures, write ups and info for your enjoyment. It
would be found in both the Cats and Dragons section listed under
(unnamed) Black and White Cat and (unnamed) Create Card Dragon in the
sections respectively.
Power Pooch and Bad Cat -- Another two for one episode with
various macro characters found within. This time its from a low budget
cartoon called Power Pooch part of the "Wacky World of Tex Avery"
show. Its a wanna be King Size Canary type of spoof but really
falls flat for many reasons. Of course that like every review is all
just my own opinion so you be the judge yourself. But that too is fully
completed. No AVI found here as I don't think there is anything to
enjoy. The episode does have some mega macro moments and even a
surprise giant sized mouse but not much more going for it. Enjoy.
Macro Comic Books:
Added three comic book reviews to
this section. To get to it click on .. Macro Comic Books.. List
of Comic Book Characters .. then the cover or link to the particular
section found there in the boxes. Easy enough right?
Blue Reptilian Monster -- I
had this on the site previously before I removed it when I re did the
comic book section. Its back up and with just the relevant information.
Its from an old Disney Adventures comic book magazine and was released
around the same time as Doug's 1st Movie was in the theaters. So it has
some themes taken from said movie. Its a huge blue monster trying to
dance as Doug's alter ego teaches him. Not much but macro is macro so
it goes up.
DemonDevilFang / Waffles -- A
short story from a Cartoon Network comic book that is based in the Kids
Next Door world. Deals with a three headed poodle of huge size that the
kids have to deal with. Very short and only a few pages long but has
some interesting moments of the dog creature interacting with the
others. Also has a bonus giant cat at the end.
Jailhouse Roc, Kongaroo, Frogzilla
-- Requested by others for a long time I finally got around to putting
this issue up and fully reviwed. It is from an issue of a long defunct
comic book series named "Captain Carrot and the Amazing Zoo Crew" that
had three seperate macro furry moments. And they are not your typical
creatures. They are a frog, kangaroo and vulture. They all only last
for 3 pages but its still cool to see a comic filled with a variety of
fun macro creatures. This is a great issue and a classic that I'm sure
a lot are familiar with. If only there were more comic books out there
like this one.
April 15, 2007
As reported on the official Club, (which I would like you folks to use
more if possible to keep it active :) ) there was a few updates
I did over the past few months that I hadn't reported on here. Sorry
about that but just been so busy I thought I would get to it. Well to
update you on what those were first before I get into what I did this
time around they are as follows:
List of
Characters:
Wally
Gator -- Finished his write up and added all new pictures and
information. It is finally completed and found in Aquatic Creatures
Baby
-- Finished everything dealing with this creature from the Mighty Ducks
episode and he is found in Everything Else!!
Spot
-- Long needed a re do as it was the old format and finally finished it
so its up to date and full. Find her in Birds section.
Also I removed an area of a section that I just didn't like. The Real
Life Animal collages found in "Should Have Been Macro" were removed for
a few reasons. One I just didn't have time to keep on making more real
life animal collages for it. Two it didn't seem to be one of the more
popular sections here so it really was just taking up space. And lastly
I just don't see enough in the future to add to it that isn't just
taking stuff from other sites and pictures that people did of giant
animal situations. While it is a cool aspect of macro I just don't see
enough ever showing up for it to make it worth while. The animated part
of that section though will stay and things will be added to that as
they are made, suggested or donated.
The latest additions to this update
include:
List of
Characters:
Slimer
-- A brand new, never before seen character on this site. Now that I
got most of the under construction stuff out of the way I can
finally start to add some newer to the page items that I have in my
huge collection of moments. A lot may remember this episode, it
is from the Real Ghostbusters where Slimer, the little ghost sidekick,
gets seperated into thousands of himself and then when he is recombined
back together he is blue and evil and of course very big. So I added
the write up, pictures and all the other goodies for this episode and
his moments. It is found in the Everything Else!! area.
Ludmilla -- Another new
addition to the site. Heavily requested by some and I figured good time
as any to get her up finally. She is a human transformed into a
dragoness at the end of the movie titled Bartok the Magnificent. While
it was far from my favorite animated movie ever I have to admit some of
the dragon moments are fun enough to make for a decent watch. Be sure
to check her out as lots of pictures write up and all that good stuff
is up.. found in the dragons section of the List..and yes.. there is an
AVI available too for her.. the full transformation scene with that
horrible and badly done song.. don't blame me for the song.. ;) Enjoy!!
More to come!!!
This time there are all brand new
things for you to look for on this page with this latest update. I even
added things in other sections that didn't have updates in them for a
long time. So I hope you enjoy, much more on the way as I find time. I
have been busy but I squeeze in a thing or two here when I can so I
thank you for your patience folks.
1) Real Life
Animals: A new character added here and its a cheezy type of
movie this time. A movie called Konga
which is a very poor take off on the King Kong theme of movie. About a
giant chimp/gorilla who kills people for some doctor but then becomes
really big towards the end and rampages through London until he is done
in. Check it out. The effects are bad and the situation silly but it is
actually not the worst thing out there. But like I always say, as long
as it fits the theme and rules of the page I will add it on and it does
so its on. I hope to get to other Kong type movies , including the
regular King Kong movies in the near future. But till then enjoy Konga. A lesser known monster
ape from the 1960's. Obviously it is found in Real Life Animals and
then go down to Gorillas and Primates area there and click on Konga and
there you go.
2) Should Have
Been Macro: I added a new collage to the Lion King collages in this
section. (Click on Should Have Been Macro, then Cartoon Characters then
Lion King). A picture inspired by a fan who told me his idea and where
to find the capture moments of Kiara and Simba and to see what I can do
with it. I think it came out well. Its a new giant Kiara picture the last one
there in the Kiara area
of the Lion King collages. The one inspired by Mr. Turner. I hope you
enjoy it. More to come of those too I hope you guys continue to help me
otu with additions to the Should Have Been Macro area too as I always
enjoy to see other peoples work. Keep em coming and enjoy this
latest Kiara work. I couldn't have and wouldn't have thought to do it
without the suggestion by the fan of this page. The reactions really do
make the picture what it is.
3) List of
Character: 1) A
long awaited episode that seems to have been
heavily requested. Comes Little
Bear episode titled "Bigger
Little Bear" some may have seen this already on the youtube link
that someone posted on the club. But if not and either way it is now on
the page as part of the List. I was going to put an AVI but since the
episode is out there already I may not. I don't know yet. Im just glad
to finally get it up as it does belong on this page and I did keep a
lot waiting on this one. Full review and pictures and write up
available for it. Just go to the List of Characters section then go to
Livestock and Bears section to find it.
2)
Also I re did a character in the same Livestock section, namely that of
the pig character Porkzilla.
Previously to this update it was the old format from a few years ago
with just some pictures and nothing else. Now it has been completely
redone and updated with new pictures, a full write up and review and
all that good stuff. Its not one of the best episodes out there but was
a very obscure episode from a short lived show called "Secret Files of
the Spy Dogs". If you ever wanted to see a giant anthro pig rampage
through a city (who hasn't? : P ) then this is the episode to check
out.
November 30, 2006
A few things I did in this latest
update. Unfortunatly nothing really new that you haven't seen before.
Im still working on that but my goal is to get the page back to working
order before I just add new stuff. So I fixed up a few things that I
have been meaning to fix and now only have a few characters and
additions left before I can focus on just new unseen on this page type
things.
1) Macro Comic Books: I added two
previously seen listings back to this section with reviews and pictures
and info and all that. I made the choices between Comic Book Covers
only and Comic Book Character Reviews easier to sort though also. When
you click on Comic Book section you will have a choice of viewing just
the covers that have macro on them or the full listings section that
goes into detail of macro furry characters found within issues.
---
Alf & Macrobe Beast have
both been added back to the Comic Book List of Characters section here.
Both have full reviews and page scans of the macro content and my
thoughts on them. Some of the reviews are still work in progress but
the rest is all up for your viewing pleasure.
2) List of Characters: Worked on
two under construction characters. Trying to get all these "Under
Construction"s out of the way once and for all so I don't have to deal
with them and can return the page to how it was. So I finished two more
Under Construction characters in the small amount of time I have had.
--- Gohan in the primates
section has been completed. He is a character from an episode of
Dragonball Z who transforms into a ape like creature.
--- Webby from the Ducktales
episode found in the Birds section of the list. She had been on the
page for a long time but now I finally made it the way I want it to
look fully done to the new look of the page and fitting in nicely.
No AVI's for either of them I'm
afriad. Really isn't much to see in these episodes that an AVI would be
worth doing.
October 26, 2006
Two additions to the List of Characters section to report on:
1)I figured since Halloween is
so close now, its time to finish the one true Halloween based episode I
have on the site. That being the Frankenpooh episodes with Winnie the Pooh in it.
To view it go to the List of Characters then to Bears and then down to
Winnie the Pooh. It was always listed as Under Construction but now it
is complete. It was previously on the page in the old format that the
page used to be in a few years ago. It was just one of those episdoes I
never was able to get to but found some time to do it and well now it's
up and ready. Everything is complete with it. Pictures, reviews, write
ups, facts..etc. Not one of my favorite episodes for the reasons I list
there in the review but some love it and everyone has their own
opinions. But whether I like it or hate it if it fits the theme i goes
on here and just in time for Halloween too.
2) A brand new addition
to the List. From a more recent show called "Big Guy and Rusty
the Boy Robot" comes an episode with not one but two ..well technically
three.. and double technically four if you count an extra creature in
it.. giants to be found. The episode called "Rumble in the Jungle"
involved a growth formula and a two-headed gorilla and a very big
female furry monkey to save the day. A strange episode but one I have
been wanting to put up for awhile as it's new and fresh and just a nice
addition to the primate section of the List. So head on to the List and
primates section scroll down to Jenny
& Dr. Mertz to find the latest and fresh to this page
addition to the page.
More
on the way very soon.. thanks for your patience all.
