2 )Sometimes (if anthropomorphic) they climb the largest building of the city and do a King Kong spoof. What they do on top of the building varies though but usually they will be chased by planes, helicoptors or other flying devices and they will usually break off (if they do that they will stand on the top of the building) or hold onto an anttena or small part of the top of the building as they make their last stand..
3) Some weird suspenseful music will be used as the background sounds of the cartoon episode during growth process or as giant monster approaches the soon to be terrorized city. This too varies with cartoon as every cartoon seems to have thier own particular music score that is used but it will always be the exciting and uh oh type of music building up the climax of the moment to its fullest.
4) In at least one episode of a half hour Disney cartoon series on TV (Except Goof Troop which was one of Disney's low points anyway, and some of the post 90's stuff which doesn't really have Disney's mark on it as other companies are making there stuff now as well) there will be a character (mostly a good guy) who becomes Macroized. ( Either someone who writes for them must be a fan of Macro or they just use the same ideas over again just filling in the characters relevent to the show. The latter probably more the reason then the prior)
5) Often a reptilian animal/furry will be turned macro in order to do a Godzilla spoof or to do a return to dinosaurs theme. And whenever a reptile (mostly in the lizard family) turns macro most of the times it will become a Dinosaur or Dragon or Godzilla like creature instead of a larger version of itself.
6) Amazingly the clothes , equipment or garments the cartoon animal /furry was wearing grows to the same size as the animal did even though anything the animal/furry was wearing should have been ripped or broken off during the growth stages. While there will be times when clothing or other items being warn will rip its very rare and how digesting something makes things not part of your body grow too I am still trying to figure out.
7) When a good/heroic character is turned macro they at first like the idea of being bigger but as the episode goes on they see it as a problem or a bad thing due to potential danger to others and their awkward position and sudden limitaions the size brings and want to return to their regular size again very baddly.
8) 9 out of 10 times the macro character will be of male gender. Even when the gender is unknown it is called "He" or "Him" by others. To make things even more intersting , when its found to be a female its a huge surprise and the characters femaminity is usualy played up on in some way.
9) Sometimes the giant two-legged animal's legs become an archway under which some form of transportation passes. Either as others are trying to escape or distract it.
10 ) Sometimes when a "Jekyll and Hyde" formula is being used the human who takes it grows a little bigger and becomes an out of control beast while the animal character only grows in size as if to say its already a beast in its being an animal.
11) Often a monkey or gorilla will be the animal to become macro and when it's a moneky instead of becoming a larger version of it's self it will become a Gorilla as it grows and usually the episode will turn into a King Kong spoof of the gorilla falling for a human female or the lead female of the series and climbing a tall building with her in hand until the heroes can return the gorilla to normal size again.
12) A lot of the times the appetite of the macro character will be increased when they become macro or eating could cause their growth and their hunger just gets greater as they are giant sized. When this is the case they will usually eat whatever is in sight including food, small buildings and something that gives or holds water like a water tower or swiming pool. Also things that really aren't edible to even someone that size is easily eaten with no problem. (Radio Anntena, cars or other metal or concrete structures)
13) During most of the growth sequences, the character will usually not grow in proportion and will gain a substantial amount of weight along with the size. While its stomach and chest get rounder and fatter, its arms and legs will remain much shorter in proportion to its great weight increase the macro fur now has compared to when it was regular sized. This does vary though by what the creature is and how well the animation is. The better the animated series, the more in proportion they will stay.
14) Even though the now giant furry should be unstoppable or have a great advantage, after a few short moments of power he will usualy be defeated or changed back quite easily. Either by reversing the effects, the other side becoming giant sized too or by something foolish the giant carelessly does to do himself in.
15)
No one ever dies or gets killed even by
the
most violent of giants in a cartoon. You will always see the people
escape
or survive , even after getting stepped on. Even if about to be eaten
they
will be spit out somehow. Destruction could be very high but
death
rate will always be zero. In some cases you will see vehicles
explode
or buildings destroyed but no casualties will ever be caused.
16) The military will often get
involved when the situation deals with a monster on the loose in the
city scenario. Even if the monster just arrived and there was no way
the army could have gotten there that quickly, they suddenly will show
up to try and take on the giant causing trouble. There will usualy be
one gung ho type of general arriving in a tank, who will say a
lot of cliche' military type of things and talk about things like how
the monster must be destroyed at all costs and similar phrases. While
the tanks and jet planes will come rushing in, the military
usualy is taken care of quite easily by the macro with very little
effort done. Either the military will do itself in somehow or the macro
has already been returned to normal by the time they were going to
attack. Sometimes it can also be some police officers that show up to
take care of the situation but they are even less effective then the
military and flee quite quickly as their cars are destroyed.
