A: If you don't know what this page is about , I will gladly try and explain it. Just have to break down the title of my page a little bit to understand what the theme here is. This pages focus is Macro Anthropomorphic and Non-Anthropomorphic Furries or animals that appear in cartoon episodes, tv episodes and movies (and other things too) in some form or another.
2) Q: That's great now I understand what the subject means but ...Why do a page like this?
A: Quick and simple answer... WHY NOT?! Its the internet and there should be a page devoted to every topic.
Longer answer. There are many reasons and there is a single reason. I won't go into detail as that really doesn't matter. Its a fun page that may be something for one person and something totally different for someone else. Its all about your imagination and just letting loose and enjoying the simple theme of a monster let loose in a city bending reality for a moment as building after building crumbles by what was once a simple lizard. Or what it would be like if your cat was suddenly the size of an elephant. Reliving the child in you when you thought of what it would be like to be a dinosaur or just maybe someone enjoys monster movies. Maybe just to think about what a creature that was once like everyone else and after becoming 100 feet tall how he now views the world at the new perspective. There are so many reasons and things this page can mean to people and I am not totally sure what it means to me even but I do know its fun to try and show all these moments and describe each one as there are many common themes and situations in each one and some are done better then others. Why doesn't really matter. If you enjoy the page I hope to continue to bring you the type of page I have from the start. If you are new here and still need answers. Search through the page and see what you come up with for yourself. Not everything has to have a definite reason or answer. Some things are just because they are that way. I collect cartoon episodes with macro moments in them and now I am sharing my collection with you all.
There is a certain interest and following of things of a macro nature. There are many pages dealing with Giant and Giantess humans and a nice amount based around giant animals and furries whether through artwork or a similar theme of my page. It could be due to all those pet dinosaurs we have always wanted or just just to prove that size truly does matter. It gives things a differnet view on the world when you think extra large terms, as everything is all built to a regular sized nature, but of course it is mostly just fun and I find it a very interesting subject and topic to focus on as macro and micro moments show up all the time in movies, comic books and cartoons. Its such a common theme that we don't even really think about and there is a reason why its used so much. Like I said though, this page could mean whatever it is to you. You can say it's stupid or say it's cool but it's here and hopefully you can find some interest and enjoyment out of the moments collected and analyzed here.
3) Q: What exactly do you classify as Macro?
A: This is a little tricky as what makes macro, macro. This is another one of those, its different for every person. To some , It can be any size difference or it can be it has to be something bigger then skyscrapers and to some even bigger then that to be true macro.
For me I go by the "King
Kong rule" which is 30 feet or higher
makes a true macro but for smaller creatures that get size adjustments
I go with "12 foot exception" .
Which is a character can grow from small to about 12 feet in size
and still look pretty big . This would be a "better then nothing"
situation where it's a character that really should be macro but we
only get a slight adjustment , yet it still pulled off the size
difference well enough to pass. (Snarf episode being an
example of the 12 foot exception ) Again I know I will sound like
a broken record but I am not the say all on what is macro nor do I care
to be. Macro means bigger. So whatever that means to you is what
it can be. I just set some guidelines to go by to set a theme
through out the page and make it flow nicely together.
Best macro episode moments seem to be the type of episodes that
spoof both King Kong and Godzilla situations or anything
involving a huge growth situation in some way. Macro does
not have to involve growth although it seems to make the episode or
situation more interesting as its now a change of power situation
that has occurred but if they start out at an already bigger then
normal size in their first appearance in the episode that is just as
acceptable. Again this is just my feelings on
it , you may find what you like as well but this is what I would
consider macro.
A good General rule of thumb that may help to
follow is that you know its a macro when
something that is normally a certain size regularly is now much much
larger. So if the dog doesn't fit in the house anymore its macro
or if you see a bird about the size of an airplane I would say
macro. Most of the time if its about 30 feet or so it is macro
even if that's its regular size (Dragons and various monsters would
fall under this) Again there are exceptions and people feel
differently on things. Some say elephants are but I would say for
this page that if it doesn't have some size change making it a real
monster of sorts its not macro for this page. (if an elephant grew in
size though even bigger.. which does happen in an episode actualy, then
it's most definitely macro). You should be able to get an
idea of what I and this page have narrowed down generally to
macro. Not that Im against anything or don't want to put
everything here. I just want to make sure its understood. Just because
I don't put it on here doesn't mean it s not macro or that you are
wrong in thinking it is. I have to set some limits is all it
comes down to.
4) Q: What about Micro (shrinking) ? Shouldn't that be on your page as well due to it making others larger by the others getting smaller?
A:
This pages focus is just on growing and giants rather then getting
smaller. It has
nothing to do with me hating shrinking or not finding it to have the
same
perspective situations. But I really have to make some limits and
barriers here. This stance has gotten me in hot water with a few
that
don't understand why I won't put shrinking on here but it just comes
down
to when I started the page way back when I just decided to do it on a
monster,
growing, rampaging type of theme and I just stuck with that ever
since.
Is it possible I may change that one day? Of course it is but as of now
the yahoo! club and page and anything related that go with this page
will
just be macro (big) based. As stated in question 3 there are many
many many variations on what can be seen as a growth or macro
situation.
I don't discount any of them as being legit. I just decided to
make
some limitations on my page from the start and I apologize to anyone in
advance
that disagrees with this but this does not at all mean I don't see
shrinking
as great size differential as macro can be. There are some pages
out
there that are shrinking or both shrinking and growth related and
just take a quick search on the net and you should be able to find
them.
In question 2 I stated that there should be a page for every topic.
Just
happens this pages topic is MACRO furries in cartoons, tv and
movies. I mean
I wish I can find every single thing that I alone was into not caring
about
just the one single topic on the various pages I go to all the time but
unfortunately
it doesn't work that way for the most part. You can't satisfy
everyone
but you try and compromise and do what you can to make the general
populous
pleased.
Last reason is just time constraints. I find it hard enough to do just
macro themed stuff. If I start to spread myself too thin I will
never be
able to accomplish the stuff I do as it is on this page. So its
also
another way to keep things toned down for me so I can continue to
provide
you with the hard work and effort I have from the start.

Q:
What about macro humans?
What about non cartoon, but kid related show based macro
moments?
A: Believe it or
not I have gotten requests for things that weren't macro cartoon or
macro animal moment based and not even just slight variations but
things that just are totally off topic and not even close to macro
furry moments. Its nice to know people want more and more and I
can't blame them at all for that and I am always open to new ideas for
the page but honestly as of now I really just want to try and stay to
the focus of true macro furries or animals. So people in
furry suits and robots and rock monsters all fall under that area of
not belonging on this page due to the theme set for it.
As for humans. There are many many many human giantess and
giant based pages out there all dealing with giant humans
galore. Take a very quick search and hundreds of pages will
come up for your viewing pleasure. This is another, I
don't have anything against macro human situations but I do want to
keep this pages focus to macro furry and animals. Please do not
request macro human moments as while I may have that in my collection
of cartoon episodes I will not be putting that on my page any time soon
as this is definitely off topic. There are many pages out there
like I said and believe me I don't have anything that those pages don't
have already anyway.
The same goes for all other non realistic type of shows.
Shows like Power Rangers, Masked Rider, Beetleborgs,
etc. all do have macro moments in them but those aren't exactly
what I would consider to be a cartoon or even truly a macro furry or
animal as it's a person in a cheezy suit, so if anything that would be
a macro human weaing something that is big too. As always I may
decide at a future date to make a new section for these things but as
of now these are off topic and I really don't even have to many moments
from these type of shows to give or put up as it is. I'm not even
sure what to consider some of that stuff as its very cartoony and stuff
in the way its done but really they aren't done via drawing or
animation like a common typical cartoon, its mostly just some guy
acting silly on a small set in a studio, so I would have to say
that this stuff shouldn't be on my page. I do get requests for
some of this stuff , at least just for me to put it in AVI to send to
them but I can't do that as for the most part I don't even have these
things on tape and secondly its really off topic and you have to check
elsewhere for things on those subjects.
6) Q: Are there any animals or creatures you won't put on your page even if they are macro or grow in size?
A: Most
things I will put on here no problem even if they aren't a animal and
are just some creature of some sort or just some weird alien or
something way out there. As long as it's not human and it's living and
it's huge and fits in nicely here it's fine by me. There are some
things I will never put on here that I don't consider to fall into the
animal or furry group and won't add to my page any time soon. These
type of themes used to all be listed in the now defunct section called "Not Quite What We Had in Mind".
The section showed moments that were not page worthy or fitting of the
theme of this site. The section was removed due to there being no point
in highlighting what doesn't belong here when it can just be listed
below in the FAQ.
Those would be:
**Any and all insects, including spiders. I just don't consider them to be animals and they definitely don't fit the theme and general animal and creature and mutant type of theme I have going on here. Again it's just my personal feelings on it but insects will never show up on this site and I don't think to many would be mad about this decision on my part to keep this place bug free. No snails or leaches or sludge monsters or things like that as well. There is movies with this stuff even cartoons but it's not that appealing or fitting of the true animal macro sense here.
**Also
things like parasites and
amebas, germs or cells and things like that will never show up
on this page. While those are living things they are not animal or
furry and I just don't think people are running here to see a 100 foot
germ on the loose. And if they are .. sorry that's just way to off
topic and won't be put up. Only times they may fit is if they actualy
look like some creature in a macro size but more often then not they
are just larger versions of what they were and that is off topic for
the theme of the page.
**Creatures that turn out to be robots the whole time are another thing that I won't add onto the page. This happens a lot in episodes with Loch Ness Monsters and the such where it turns out the whole time it was just a robot. Well a robot is not a living animal or furry, its metal and gears usualy controled by some mad doctor or something and while it may have looked real for the first 20 minutes until we find out it wasn't at the end , it can't go up as this is just for the real thing (or real according to the cartoon universe its situated in if its from a cartoon) . There are a lot of things that fall in this robot category (Like a lot of the creatures that Robotnik used in the Sonic the Hedgehog Cartoon and then there was Shaggy from the What's New Scooby Doo cartoon, to name a few of many..) but they are robots so they don't go up. Its too bad that it wasn't the real thing but I can't make exceptions because it's better then nothing. This site is to honor the actual monsters and animals and furries who weren't made of metal. Sorry, maybe they will get it right next time.
**Another no no for this site is inanimate objects that look like animals or creatures but aren't really. That would be like a stone statue coming to life by a magic spell or an magically enlarged figurine in the shape of some creature attacking a city. There are exceptions to this too. If the creature turns real after the transformation then it would be acceptable. But this too is tricky. If the creature was in stasus in stone or something and returned to normal after a long sleep that fits. If it turns out that it was still stone the whole time even if it looked real that is a no go. Has to be real living flesh or fur or scales type of creature that is alive and living in some way according to the rules of the particular media being watched. Same goes for creatures attacking. They can be made of real stuff but if they aren't truly something in the living animal or furry type of field then it's just not right for the site. So you won't find a huge mutant glass horse here or a giant mummy on the loose. When I say creatures I make acceptions but they still have to be in the non human and furry, animalish, line somewhere. Some creatures may seem like they don't belong but are truly furry and do. But something like bringing the giant sphynx to life may be a great idea but if it's still rock and sand the whole time even as its growling and snarling and stomping it just doesn't belong here.
**No parts of bodies or of animals being big on the loose. This would mean no giant Hair monsters that was made from some furs shaved off fur forming or something or no huge dinosaur skeleton on the attack after it was brought to life but is still a skeleton. Has to be a full creature all together. Doesn't mean it can't just be big in places and only grown in parts and stuff but single parts not part of the full body or incomplete stuff doing the macro stuff just doesn't fit for the path of the page.
**The macro has to be over 50% furry or animal
overall. So if it's a anime catgirl who got big that doesn't fit
that classification. Putting a tail and small triangle ears on a human
doesn't make them furry enough for this site. A human with horns on his
head and not much else still not fititng no matter how big they got.
Something like a gigantic 60 foot centaur or something would probably
make the cut but it hasn't happend yet that I have found. Somone who
says they are a dragon but it looks a lot like a human with green skin
and nothing else is not acceptable. Has to fit in with the rest of the
stuff here otherwise it's human which is off topic on this site.
**Scale and perspective tricks
are also a no go. A 6 foot fur destroying a model set that is a few
inches or feet in size is not macro as far as the page is concerned. If
they aren't really a giant compared to the world around them , then
they aren't truly macro, they are just interacting with things that
were built on a smaller scale while still in their own regular sized
unvierse. This too can get tricky as we have Guliver situations in
where someone is a giant by the fact they are in a world that is all
small scale sized making the other a giant just by the fact that
EVERYTHING else is small. But those are the only times where macro can
come from a regular sized fur interacting with smaller sized worlds. It
won't happen often as the whole world or a big part of it has to really
all be small scaled for this situation to truly work. If it's just one
village located on a regular sized planet where the people of this one
village are all small scale but everyone else in the other areas are
regular sized, then its not really a macro situation, just a
bunch of tiny folks interacting with someone of a normal scale.
The situation really depends on if scale and size of others works for
macro but 9 out of 10 times it is not truly a macro moment for this
pages theme and focus.
7) Q: Why is your page only PG rated ?
A: There are a few reasons that I decided to keep my page safe and clean for all ages and people rather then sexual and cover the full spectrum of things.
One being that the majority of things on here are cartoon related. That being the case , a nice portion of people coming here will be childeren and other minors who are the target audience for cartoons. Thats just to be expected and I actually get a lot of feedback from them as well on my page. This is a page for everyone and its nice to know I can do a page like this that isn't excluding people due to content found on here. I hate to have to turn anyone away from here just because I went that path. Theres many sexual pages out there and many overly violent pages as well for your viewing pleasure. But when the topic is cartoons its not only a little hard to get past a PG rating its just not proper seeing as to what the theme of cartoons and the audience is. While this page isn't really geared for a child target market (its really for anyone) but cartoons for the most part are geared in that direction so can't be avoided in that case.
Secondly, I am a firm believer in the principle that not everything has
to be spelled out and over done to make it just as interesting.
Usually people are under the conception that sex and violence sells.
That may be the case if you go by magazines and movies but has it come
to the point where we can't find fun and a huge interest in safe and
fun stuff even if its not over filled with erotic things going
on? I sure hope not but its possible it has but I hope not
everyone feels that
way. I'm a lover of R rated movies and sex and violence on my TV.
Doesn't mean it has to be on this page to make the page good. Sure it
would be very easy for me to go that path and many in the macro field
have done so. This page won't be going that path any time soon
though so if
you are thinking of sending me a collage with private parts or blood
and guts pouring out everywhere. Save the email as it won't be
showing up on here. There's few purely PG rated macro pages out
there and I'm proud to say that this is one of them and has been from
the start and will be till its end. Some of the links to other
pages I have on here may go above a PG rating and if or when that is
the case I will make sure that it is known before hand. But
those are the only exceptions I would make to go above the PG
rating.
II. LAYOUT,TEXT, FONTS, LOADING..etc.
1) Q: What is found under each of the section choices on
your
page?
(In other words a break down of what is
found in each section of my page)
A: LIST OF CARTOON CHARACTERS -- The section that started it all. This is the first section I ever did on my page. At one point it was the only choice you had. This section houses all the single screen captures for the various macro characters in cartoon episodes. It is separated by animal type and then to character name. Each animal type will have its own section for you to click on once you enter this part of the page. Once you click on the link or picture box of said animal group a list of all characters fitting into that animal will show up next in list format listed in alphabetical order according to the first name of the character. The captures can range in number from 9-30 total and as time goes on I will try and redo some of the lower quality and quantity number captures for existing characters as well as adding new additions to this section. Each chracter will also include a write up below the pictures telling a bit about the episode they are in, their macro moment in the episode and a review of said episode. Also it will have a rating on a A-F scale with A+ being the best of how I felt the moment and character was overall macro wise and of course F being the worst ever in my opinion. And some positives and negatives to point out. If there are any AVI's made of the characters moments they will be found here as well. Viewer reviews for episodes can be found here and everything you want to know about any of the characters listed will be put there for your viewing pleasure. It's constantly changing and more info is always added.
SHOULD HAVE BEEN MACRO -- There are many moments where I'm sure many have thought, "That character would have been perfect as a macro" but alas it never did happen. This section tries to make up for that. Collages made by me and other people who have submitted things , fan fiction stories dealing with a cartoon character that became macro and other surprises will be housed here. Feel free to make your own submissions for this section. This section has the most possibilities for people to submit and create their own work for the page. This section will also include real life animals that are put into collages and put into a macro situation. Maybe looming over a city or towering over a famous building or just showing what an animal much larger then it normaly is would look like.
COMMON THEMES & MISC INFO
-- Another area that was
on my page from its early origins but now has its own section as its
grown over time. This section is devided into three parts. The
first is common running themes.
Its not much but it just gives you the
viewer of the page an idea of some common running themes that you would
find in a majority of macro based episodes. This list is always
being added to as I come up with more or you guys suggest new ones.
Seondly found here will be some definitions to the Episode Type
classifications that are found on the list and real animal
reviews.
This will give a break down of all the listings that an episode or
movie can fall under when it comes to the way they got big or the
situation overall theme wise. Lastly is a Glossary that will give
short definitions to some common themes used here or about things found
here that is constantly being added to. This can be terms used in
reviews or just general furry definitions that will often be used in
various places on the site.
MACRO'S IN COMIC BOOKS -- Extending the cartoon theme, this section will show the same things that are shown in macro cartoon episodes, except its all in comic book format. Usually I will put the whole issue down but blow up the macro moments so you take notice of them. Reviews, thoughts and information on the issue will be posted for each comic. Its almost like its own offshoot of the web page itself but definitely relevant. A lot of the same themes that happen in cartoons will be found in these comic books but since they only have limited frames to work with growth scenes and moments are usually limited. Also will show just comic book cover scans that have macro moments on them but doesn't mean that the macro moments are found within.
REAL ANIMALS IN TV and MOVIES -- Newest section to the page. This will extend on the macro cartoon theme by devling into macro animals that appear in real live action movies and tv shows. Most of these won't be furry moments as it's hard to capture furries properly in non animated formats. But giant animals in movies and tv shows do show up at various points. It will be similar to the List of Characters but it will be of real life animals instead of the animated versions showing how macro moments work when you are limited to special effects and not able to do everything you can when drawing out everything you want to do in a cartoon.
VIEWER
FEEDBACK-- This section is where you the viewer of the page gets
to have some more participation to my page. You can sign the

2) Q: Why do I get weird boxes or symbols on the page where there should be text?
A: This can be due to a few reasons but mostly it is probably due to the particular font I used. Fonts for those that aren't totally sure are the particular script of a letter that is used. There are thousands of different fonts on the net and most computers come with a few core fonts. Some people have some fonts that others don't and that being the case I may have used a font that you don't have. I try and stay to general fonts but sometimes I do pick a font that doesn't agree with you as your computer doesn't recognize it and didn't convert it to a regular generic font. When I get a lot of comments about that happening I usually will change the font but for the most part you have to compromise as I can't change the fonts to meet everyone's computer or I would wind up just using Times or Arial for everything and that gets very dull. If you want to read some jumbled text copy and select the jumbled mess on the screen and paste it into a program like notepad or word perfect or MS Word and then while its still selected change the font to something you have and you should be able to read what is therein that mess.
3) Q: Some of the AVI's Don't work after I download them. Is there something wrong with it?
A: I get asked this question in various forms a lot actualy. A lot of people go onto the page and find an AVI to view, they click on it, , wait all the time to download it only to have windows say some error on why it won't work. Or something similar to that. no the AVI is not broken or incomplete and the link was right. I check them all various times and test them in my players to make sure they work. The problem is that the format of the AVI doesn't match the player you are trying to use. There are a few formats I use on the page for my AVIs. This is either for space reasons, quality reasons or donated AVIs that were already formated that way.
The main
players are Real Player, Windows Movie Player and Quicktime. There are
many many others and another you may want is "The Playa" for Divx
format. Make sure you are using the right format and have the proper
and most up to date divx encoding to ensure that everything will work.
4)
Q: Sometimes when I load up a page on your frames site
the pictures load up in a strange
formation. Is there something I can do to fix this?
A: The page is now in a frames format. That
being the case some of the sections in the main frame won't load as
fully as they as they will for some due to differnet monitor sizes. The
way to fix this is by loading this page in Netscape or IE (newer
versions preferably) and load the page, then the section you want, like
say this one.. and then you go over to the bar that seperates the menu
and the right side of the screen that would have this info in it.
Scroll over to the bar and when the cursor changes into a double
arrowed icon pointing left and right drag the screen all the way to the
left and you can make the screen as full as you want. Theres also
another option you can do that works well in both of the main browsers.
Right click on the right side of the frame section, click on open frame
in new window and you can view the whole frame in a full screen format
all you like. The frames format should make things easier for all
viewing this page and you should be able to figure out what ways you
like the frames themselves to be as you can adjust them to your liking.

Do you have *Insert Episode name here* and if so can you put it onto
AVI for me?
A: Here is a short
and simple answer to this question that I get asked a lot in various
different ways.
NO.
I know many that come here would love to get the
stuff
I have for their own collections as clips and short video captures just
don't cut it as well as the entire episode would. But I really don't
have time
to make tapes for people or to make personal AVI's for people as
well. If I did that I would be doing these things for day after
day non stop.
Some people do have the time to do this but I don't and the only fair
way
is to not do any at all and I'm sorry that this does disappoint people
as
even people I talk to everyday ask me but I can't. I put a
lot
of time and effort into this page and I hope that what I put on here
will
be enough to satisfy. I do tell you all where you can find episodes
that
appear on my page in the List of Characters Section under
the selected character and you
can search on the net for such episodes that may be sold or check the
local
listings for the episodes. I give you all the help I can to find these
eps
without actually just giving them to you.
Also when I did this a few times in the past even with people who were
good friends I wound up getting burned in one way or another with
promises not met (stories, tapes, money..etc.) and taking
advantage of my over
all good nature. I have enough problems to deal with in my real
life
off of here I don't need extra stuff going on due to bad deals and
phony
friendships to get episodes.
So please do not ask me anymore for copies of episodes as I will not be
doing
that any time soon. AVI requests for my page are different and I
do
ask for your feedback on what you would like in AVI clip wise but I
will
not put whole eps on AVI or give eps on tape to
people. Please don't ask as I will not reply to such requests any
longer.
2) Q: Can you put a/an *insert episode name here* AVI on your page?
A: AVI's while in the past were a focus on my page, they no longer are. They will be more of a extra to a List of Characters write up so you can see a small clip of the moment in real time. AVI's no longer will be in a seperate section and they no longer will be of things not listed on this page. They will be a supliment to already existing characters. So keep that in mind before you suggest an AVI for me to put up. I do plan on putting up every character posible eventualy so if you want to see an AVI and List of character feel free to drop me a line and let me know. You never know what I will put up. But you are probably better off suggesting a List of Characters or Real life Animals addition already up that you would like to see a clip of. As stated in the FAQ I don't do personal AVI's and I appologize for that but I will do what I can when I can if you are dying to see a clip of a certain character.
3) Q: *For various reasons* Can I upload/download to/from your FTP space?
A: Unfortunately , I don't' have a way for this to be done. I have tired and it wouldn't accept other users on it so while yes it would make things easier I have no realistic way to do this. The best way to put things up for others to view is to use the Yahoo! Club section of this page and upload files there and post a message that you have added something. That has worked the best from what I can tell.
I will be honest though even if I could , I don't think I would allow this. People say it is easier to submit things to me if they can just directly upload it to my site and while that may be the case that also ties up bandwidth and I really do want to see what people are giving me before its put onto my site. People
think I hide things on my FTP space and want access to it as if I have
many things waiting there for your viewing pleasure but the truth is I
have nothing there
that you don't see. Maybe some non related things that I put
there
just for storage but anything that is page related is available to you
by
the time I finish an update. I upload it as I finish it and tell you of
it.
I don't store things there and then a month later decide to make it
available.

Q: I
have seen the same EXACT AVI's and/or Pictures that you have on your
site on other site(s). Even the file size and name match. What gives?
A:
Believe it or not there has been some
confusion with all of this. There are some other sites that came
around after this one on the web
that have a very similar theme to this page. (Transformation or
Inflation..etc mostly) With the growing amount of people coming onto
the
internet every year, its only matter of factly that others will be into
similar things as this pages themes are. While some of the
content on these newer pages will be from their own stuff, not
all of it is. A lot of it will be taken right off of this pages List
sections (including captures and AVI's amongst other things) and placed
right onto theirs as if they did the work. Its the sad state of the
internet these days but what can you do? People want to be lazy and
milk off other peoples work and stuff so they don't have to do it
themselves, but they are only fooling themselves as I get emails all
the time about it actualy and it makes these other people look really
foolish and pathetic to say the least.
Whats worse is, they don't even give credit to this page or other pages that they take things from, thinking that people will actualy not realize that they just took it from here. Even worse then that is when one or two aren't sure what page the stuff came from. At least if they are going to just plainly swipe things and slap them onto their sites , give some credit to where you got it. Some folks have no honor I guess. Anyway, rest assured folks. As you can see from the various sections in my page, I ALWAYS credit where I got something from. If it was fan sumbitted I will make sure you can clearly see who gave it and where it was from. I have not taken credit for anyone elses work and never would as thats just not my thing. I have more then enough stuff that I don't need to be flat out stealing, and if I did take things from others I would ASK first and credit them for all their work and efforts. Everything not credited is either from things submitted to me on tape by people I have known or do know still or otherwise or from DVD and tapes or my own recorded taped episodes throughout the years.
So to clear confusion on this issue, if you
see the same exact AVI or pictures on another similar themed page or a
newsgroup list or something of that nature, and you look here and see
that there was no credit given to it in the section its found in , it
was original to this page. Please help out this site and let these
people know that you don't approve of people stealing other peoples
work and be sure to let me know when you run into this. I am already
aware of a few sites that do this and I will be spreading the word . I
am very helpful with my site and the macro world always wanting to help
out but to have people just take things without even asking or giving
credit that I put a lot of work into, well that just is not a
good practice or way to run a site and don't let these thieves get away
with it. This page has been around since the summer of 1997 and most of
the same exact images or avi or both (not changed in any way from how
you see them here) you see on other pages has been on my site longer
then they have even had a site. Its nice they liked my stuff so much
that they too want it but tell them next time to ask and do the right
thing and give credit where its due and stop trying to pass others work
off as your own. I hope this clears things up a bit as it is an
on going problem but if you are all aware , we can spread the
word and put these thieves in their places once and for all. I'm all
for various sites on similar subjets as this one but lets all be fair
and treat each other with respect and ask first or do your own work.
Your site will be more respected that way and so will any that have a
history of taking things without crediting them to the source.
1) Q: I have some captures I think would go nicely on your page. Would you like me to give them to you?
A: Usually I have no problem at all taking other peoples captures that are donated for use on this page. This has been done a few times for my screen capture sections. If you would like to send me captures please email me and tell me what you are sending,what its of if I can't tell and what idea you have for it. I have had people do whole List of Character scans and people just do one image that they thought belonged somewhere to give an example.
Of course there are a a few exceptions. One being I will not put up things that are taken from another site. I know I don't like when people take stuff from here and don't credit it so there's no reason why I would like to do that to others. I appreciate people trying to help out but obviously if you saw it on another site then it belongs there and there's no point in putting it here as I can't credit you for giving me someone elses work. If someone wants to tip me off to an episode or something that they saw elsewhere or on another site that's another story as I may have that episode in my collection or I can put that on the Wanted List. But please do not try and pass off someone else's work as your own as its just not nice and I want to give people who give me stuff the credit due to them for their hard work.
Other excpetions would be quality of the captures. I usually am not to picky on things like quality of pictures or colors or things of that sort but I can't just put anything up just to say its up. you have nothing to lose though if you send me the captures but if it can't be made out I won't be able to use it and i hope people understand that if that case ever arises. I do appreciate all the submissions in captures I get but sometimes i just can't make them out. The same goes for the episode captured too. If I feel its not on topic with the page or I can't find a place for it and/or I have a lot of captures already then I would have to turn down the use of it.
When you
submit something. I will give you credit for your time and effort
and make sure people realize it was done by you and not me. So if
you have
anything you think belongs on here in your files that you scanned or
captured
, by all means send it to me and I will most likely put it up.
2) Q: I saw your Should Have Been Macro section collages. How do I go about submitting some of my collages for your page?
A: All collages on my page do go into the Should Have Been Macro section as usually the collages will be of characters that never got to macro status or it will be a better situation of a character in a macro situation. If you want to submit a college please email me or send me a link (if you uploaded them to your ftp space) and I will gladly look them over and take them into consideration. Remember they can be of cartoon furries or animals or real life animals but do try and keep the backgrounds the same as to what the character is.. for example don't put a real life animal in a cartoon background or a cartoon character in a real life environment.. you can and I probably still would put them up but if you can keep it all to the same focus it would make things flow nicely with how I have the section set up. You don't have to though.. if you want a cartoon character in the real world terroizing things ala a Roger Rabbit world type of thing, go for it.
I will put almost anything up that shows some effort and work put into it but like everything else there are exceptions to what I can't put up. They include:
a) Anything sexual or explicit will not be put up no matter how good the collage is for the reasons stated above in Section I question 6. b) any characters that are off subject to this page (not a furry or animal, its off topic things like a robot, or not macro .etc) c) Some effort does have to be put into it. I know I don't do expert collages either but I do put a lot of work into them and try to get them as best as I can with the tools I have to use. But some thought and placement issues do have to be put into consideration before you actually finish the collage. Just put a little work into it and it shouldn't be a problem. Best program to use for these type of collages is Photoshop or a similar type of program with layers so you can mix and combine many captures together.
So by all means hand in your collages to me
and I will gladly put them up on future updates. Hopefully in the
near future that section will be filled up with many of you the fan
collages . And of course I always give a mention as to who did the
collages that you view there.
3) Q: Can I make a section of my own for you to put up on your site? (OR) I have my own (Artwork, stories, ideas, illustrations, collages etc) I would like to add onto your page as an extra section that would be my own to work on, would you be interested in such a thing?
A: I truly don't have a problem with this on the surface as I would love to help out another who has a great idea for something to add to this page even if it were their own personal section.
The only reasons I would have to say no to this at the moment are that I wouldn't be able to give you control of when you put up your content so you would have to work through me. It would still be me uploading everything for you. I also want to try and use all the space I have for the most content I can give, it would defintely not be an unlimited space deal. And lastly I find there are less problems without having to work with to many others as everyone has their own system on how to do things , whether its when to update or how to make things look or what to put up and when. It could cause problems if I had a section being done by someone else and problems started to be caused from it.
As of now I would have to say I can't see it working out but of course I am always open to ideas. If you have something that would fit the theme of the page somehow or something you think people that come here would like and want to put it up here as you have nothing else to do with it and can constnatly add more to it over time (collages or artwork or something like that perhaps) we can figure something out I'm more then willing to listen to your ideas. Just realize that many things may get turned down or rejected and not to take it personaly. Before I would even consider anything though it would take a lot of conversations and discussion on exactly what we are dealing with and even if I can't make it happen that doesn't mean I won't help you out some other way.
